Although it's not a unique weapon, the MS16 S makes quick work of most enemies up until a better rifle is earned - and it's worth using until players can get the best sniper rifle in Far Cry 6. Juan has Dani add a Resolver Suppressor to the MS16 S, and after finding more weapon materials shortly thereafter the player can add a 4x ACOG scope and Armor Piercing Rounds. The MS16 S is the weapon Dani grabs from one of the crates, and it's a power rifle that Dani should have equipped for a while.
After meeting Juan Cortez and Guapo, Juan sends Dani to a military checkpoint on the way back to Clara García. The MS16 S is automatically earned during the "Juan of a Kind" mission.
Additionally, even though the MS16 S isn't a unique weapon, it's still a powerful weapon to use at the beginning of Far Cry 6, and for some time afterward.

Players are free to roam around Far Cry 6 and grab these weapons before starting any missions, although the beginning missions do unlock some key features like the parachute and workbench. After Dani arrives on Isla Santuario, it doesn't take more than 1-2 hours to find each weapon by just running through the missions.

Once you make a purchase, you can’t reroll mods for that gear piece until you (a) upgrade the weapon case or (b) save, quit, and reload. Oh, and speaking of mod rerolls, the moment you choose a set of mods for a weapon, you need to purchase that item. Keep in mind that upgrade costs and mod reroll costs will get higher over time. Weapons will also gain mods once upgraded, though you’ll have to press “T” to reroll the set of mods until you find a combination that you want. Here are all the weapons that you can obtain in Far Cry 6 Vaas: Insanity:Įach weapon case/type of weapon can be upgraded multiple times from uncommon (white) to legendary (gold) rarity.
